The Centre for Enhanced Hydrocarbon Recovery and CO2 Solutions (formerly the Hydrocarbon Recovery Mechanisms project) has been investigating various hydrocarbon recovery mechanisms to improve the current understanding of the pertinent processes and produce information required for the efficient planning and management of field production. Unique laboratory core test facilities, high pressure flow visualisation in micromodels, mechanistic and numerical modelling of flow through porous media are used to achieve research objectives.
