The Centre for Enhanced Oil Recovery and CO2 solutions has a long history of supporting students aiming to complete a PhD while preparing them for a future in industry. The two heads of the centre, Prof. Mehran Sohrabi and Prof. M. Jamiolahmady (Jami), were students at the centre before assuming their current roles. Additionally our current Research Fellow and Research Associate both completed their PhD studies within the centre prior to joining as staff.

Student opportunities here lie with the ability to work alongside a multi-disciplinary team with many years experience in Teaching, Laboratory work and Simulation work. The opportunity to be part of Joint Industry Partnerships while working towards a PhD is hugely valuable as many of our students both past and present have outlined.
